West Indies 2006 After 27 days at sea we made our Caribbean landfall in St Lucia on New Year's Eve 2005. We spent the first six months of 2006 cruising the Lesser Antilles - the Leeward Islands from Dominica up to St Kitts and the Windward Islands from Martinique to Grenada. We learnt a lot along the way, enjoyed visits from both our families, met some great people, drank rather a lot of rum and had fun. By June we had lived aboard for over a year and had sailed some 5,000 nautical miles. It was time for a change.
