Other Weather Info

The biggest help during our passage making has been the weather information researched and supplied by Mark's dad John. From England to the Caribbean, John kept track of the weather relevant to us and published this on our website for us and our family to read. He provided not only direct short term forecasts but also appropriate charts covering subsequent days where available giving us an indication of any major changes in the weather patterns. All the information provided previously on our first website can now be found on this site using the links in the right-hand navigation bar.

While crossing the Atlantic he emailed us daily with up-to-date weather forecasts and suggestions on routing, for which we will always be grateful for. Thank you John.

We were kindly donated a Weatherman box by Jeff before leaving Brighton. This gave us a text display of the shipping forecast and we found this very useful while cruising in British waters.
